Hope King is a former Wall Street executive turned journalist and entrepreneur. She founded Macro Talk, an independent business news platform in 2025. Hope was previously Axios' Senior Business Reporter and cast member of "Axios on HBO." Prior to Axios, Hope was hired by streaming news pioneer Cheddar from CNN to anchor business shows. Hope has interviewed hundreds of global newsmakers—including Jamie Dimon, Jack Ma, Satya Nadella, Adena Friedman, Gary Gensler, Katherine Tai and Steph Curry. Before journalism, Hope was a VP of Product and Business Development at BofA Merrill Lynch.
